Dr Paul Shortis
Paul graduated from Monash University in 2002 and completed his general practice fellowship (FRACGP) in 2009. Paul has worked in multiple settings over the past decade including in regional and remote areas. Paul has a particular interest in managing sports medicine injuries. He has refined these skills by working at a dedicated sports medicine clinic in the past and currently enjoys assisting three orthopaedic surgeons. Paul currently works as a General Practitioner at Kew General Practice and at the Eltham Clinic. He loves the variety and the continuity of care that GP practice offers. He enjoys getting to know his patients and strives to support them to achieve their optimal health. Paul enjoys managing all aspects of general practice and in addition to sports medicine he also has particular interests in travel medicine and paediatrics. Additionally Paul works as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. When not at work Paul enjoys cycling, athletics, hiking and skiing.
